What to Expect

Meeting new people and visiting a new church can feel intimidating, so we want to help you know what to expect before you arrive. Our mission is to free people to walk in Jesus, and it would be our joy to help you take a step toward knowing God, finding community, discovering your purpose, and making a difference.

  • You can expect passionate, Christ-centered worship led by WALK Worship. We believe worship is more than something we do on Sundays. It’s a response to who Jesus is and a lifestyle of giving Him glory with our lives.

  • Each week, you’ll hear a biblical message centered on Jesus and designed to help you understand God’s Word and take your next step in following Him. Our heart is not simply to know more, but to become disciples who are being set free to walk in Jesus.

  • We believe everyone has a next step. At the end of the message, we’ll create space to respond to what God is doing, whether that means trusting Jesus, praying with someone, or taking another step in your walk with Him. There’s no pressure or expectation to have everything figured out before you come.

WLK YTH is for 6th–12th grade students. On Sundays, teens are encouraged to worship and be part of the main service with the whole church family.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Come as you are. You’ll see people in jeans, sneakers, hats, and everything in between. No dress code. No pressure. We’re just excited to have you with us.

  • 4Twelve Kids is available for babies through 5th grade during every Sunday service. It’s a fun, safe environment where kids can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in faith.

  • Students in 6th–12th grade are encouraged to be part of the main Sunday worship service with the whole church family. WLK YTH also gathers during the week to build community, grow in God’s Word, and follow Jesus together.

  • Expect passionate worship, practical teaching from the Bible, and a church that’s excited to be together. Our hope is that you leave encouraged, challenged, and ready to take your next step with Jesus.

  • Fill out a Connect Card and let us know a little about you. Our team would love to meet you, answer any questions, and help you take your next step at WALK. When you’re ready to go deeper, Join the Family is a great place to start.
